The Clintonville Police Department maintains its own 24/7 24-hour police dispatch. Our dispatch center is staffed by four full-time Clerk-Dispatcher and up to four part-time Clerk-Dispatchers. They dispatch our officers to all emergency and non-emergency calls for service within our city. Our dispatch center is also the point of contact for after-hours utility emergencies for the Clintonville Utility Department.
Our Dispatch Center handles a significant workload, receiving an average of 12,000 calls yearly and serving 9,000 customers at the front window. This high call volume underscores the importance of our operations and the crucial role each of you plays in serving our community.
The Clerk-Dispatchers have many duties. They dispatch officers to calls and answer phones, and they also type all of the officers' reports—an average of 3,500 reports.
Clintonville Police can provide certain title, registration and/or registration renewal services for walk-in customers between the hours of 7:00am- 7:00pm Monday through Friday, and 7:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday. Depending upon the transaction, plates or stickers are given to the customer upon completion. The titles are printed and mailed from DMV in Madison. For further questions call (715) 823-3117.
